This 37-storey tinted-glass tower will rise from a three-storey precast and glass podium, which will feature recreational facilities, residential suites, and retail space including a proposed major grocery store. Many of the tower suites include six-foot-deep balconies that expand living area to the great outdoors. Picking up on the cool blues and soothing greens of the water, the balcony glass sections are arranged in a unique sweeping pattern that creates a sense of movement inspired by a ship’s sail. Like its sister buildings, Nautilus will offer panoramic views of Lake Ontario and the Toronto skyline through expansive windows.
